BOOK PROMOTION

for Authors

Each promotion includes:

a tour banner
a media pack (inclusive of the book cover, graphics, buy links, author bio, author social media/website links) for distribution to all participating blog hosts
Distribution of ARCs (or Audible US/UK codes) to bloggers/reviewers, if required
a Rafflecopter giveaway, if required
a blog schedule listing the host blogs and tour dates – listed on our Facebook page and also emailed to the author a week before the start of the promotion
promotion on the Gay Book Promotions’ Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, and MeWe pages
posts on this site’s Blog page and Forthcoming Events listings
your book cover will be posted on the left-hand sidebar of this blog for the duration of the promotion
promotion of your blog tour and the various blog posts to various Facebook groups and other social media platforms

Please try to book at least three – four weeks in advance. This gives the tour hosts time to schedule the post, and if necessary, read and review the book, submit interview questions/guest post ideas and for the author to get them back in a timely manner.

Please be aware that tour hosts’ schedules fill up quickly, so the earlier a tour is booked the more participation it is likely to have.

COVER REVEAL

The aim is to generate interest in your forthcoming book and widen your audience.

Cover Reveals are set for a specific date and time
Promotion through Social Media by sharing the Cover Reveal posts from various blogs to Facebook pages/groups, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, MeWe, and Pinterest
1 Day – $40

Book another service for the same book and receive a $10/£8 discount on the combined package.

AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT and BACKLIST PROMOTION

Pricing: $120

Ten days promotion – Consecutive days or spread over a month

Select up to five books to promote (including reviews, if required)
Author Spotlight and Interviews
Promotion via blog posts, promotional groups on Facebook, and social media shares

Payment

PAYMENT MAY BE MADE IN US DOLLARS OR GB POUNDS.

Once you decide on the type of tour you require we will send a PayPal invoice. Work on your promotional media package will begin after payment of this invoice is received.

We will contact 120+ hosts/bloggers (depending on the service required) regarding your request, inviting them to participate in the tour/event via a Google Forms sign-up sheet.

A standardised form will be sent to you to gather further information needed for the structuring of the promotion and the production of our media pack.

Most of the services listed above require at least three weeks notice to arrange. Most tour hosts’ schedules fill up quickly, so the earlier your tour is booked the greater the chance of a higher participation for your chosen dates.
